Biography of Finnish Symphonic Power Metal Band "Nightwish"

Nightwish... one of the best symphonic power metal bands in the world ,from Finland . In 1996 ,the band started their journey with songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen ,guitarist Emppu Vuorinen and female vocalist Tarja Turunen . Later Tarja has been replaced by another 'star' Anette Olzon and Original bassist Sami Vanska has been replaced by "adventurous" vocalist and bassist MARCO HIETALA . Before him ,Tuomas Holopainen did male vocal parts or other guist singers .

Nightwish is the third best selling band in Finland with sales of over 827000 certified copies .The group is also the most successful Finnish band abroad with more than seven million records sold worldwide, and having collected over 60 gold and platinum awards !
